Mille et une Feuilles sur La Charite-Sur-Loire

A very warm welcome, lovely decor with numerous photos and texts by writers in the stairwell and dining room. Each room is named after a writer with photos on the walls (we had Simone de Beauvoir). Truly charming and welcoming.

A very pleasant hotel (dedicated to literature) in the center of La Charité-sur-Loire. The managers are very friendly. There's a shelter for bicycles inside the courtyard, and a small, cozy, and quiet outdoor area (unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it). Our room (Molière) was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The breakfasts were very generous, and the manager was attentive to guests' needs. We were able to park without any problem in front of the hotel. We spent several nights in this peaceful hotel after spending days exploring the surrounding area. A lovely find.

A hotel with a fascinating theme of words and poets. Very friendly welcome. We recommend it.

The room is charmingly old-fashioned, but overpriced for what it is. The bathroom is clearly not up to 3-star standards: the macerator toilet, for example, doesn't work.
