Mille et une Feuilles sur La Charite-Sur-Loire

A very pleasant hotel (dedicated to literature) in the center of La Charité-sur-Loire. The managers are very friendly. There's a shelter for bicycles inside the courtyard, and a small, cozy, and quiet outdoor area (unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it). Our room (Molière) was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The breakfasts were very generous, and the manager was attentive to guests' needs. We were able to park without any problem in front of the hotel. We spent several nights in this peaceful hotel after spending days exploring the surrounding area. A lovely find.

A hotel with a fascinating theme of words and poets. Very friendly welcome. We recommend it.

The room is charmingly old-fashioned, but overpriced for what it is. The bathroom is clearly not up to 3-star standards: the macerator toilet, for example, doesn't work.

Behind a grand carriage entrance lies the entrance to this truly charming hotel, located on the road to Vézelay. The reception area is at the foot of a magnificent wooden staircase leading to the rooms. Ours overlooked the street, which was very quiet in late November. The room was spotless and furnished with comfortable bedding; the bathroom had a spacious shower, and we slept like babies. To top it all off, the generous breakfast was excellent, and our host was incredibly attentive. A truly excellent place to stay.
