An excellent restaurant in Douai! Admittedly, the facade isn't much to look at, but don't let that fool you: the welcome is exceptional. You truly feel taken care of, the staff are incredibly attentive, and the food is a delight. A perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover!

We ordered takeout for a team meal for nine people and everything was perfect. The chef took the time to explain the new menu, prices, and reservation procedure, which was very much appreciated. The meal was excellent, very well prepared, and perfectly suited to the takeout format. The value for money is fantastic! In short, we loved it and will definitely be back, even for personal orders!

15/04/2026: Absolutely exceptional. We started with the profiteroles with Maroilles cheese. The sauce was the best Maroilles sauce we've tasted in several restaurants. Our main courses, the Flemish carbonnade and the chicken in beer sauce, were divine. If you're looking for a restaurant in Douai, look no further and head straight to Le Bistrot du Tigre – it's the best possible choice!
