La Farnesina sur Paris

We had a lovely evening last night. Too bad the staff forgot the candle for my wife's birthday. It would have been a perfect evening.

Very nice place but the food is not great

Location is amazing and the service was excellent. I came across this restaurant after a long business day. The welcome was warm yet distinguished. There were about 25 guests in the restaurant when I entered but it was very quiet and immediately felt relaxing. I had a glass of 2020 Valpolicella which tasted somewhat acidic. It was not faulty but not a great wine. The carpaccio was simply excellent… to the point where I considered coming the next day to taste it again. The pasta Cacio y Pepe however was not up to the level of the rest. While being fresh, the sauce was watery and tasteless. The wait staff taking care of me (mostly a young lady with a lovely Italian accent and at times a young man) we’re polite and very attentive, which makes me wonder how some other reviews can be so negative. Certainly a place to recommend.

Very expensive but logical given the neighborhood Octopus carpaccio very good but too light

Excellent dishes. Very good service. Very pretty setting.

Very good restaurant, where even the bread is homemade. The atmosphere is very pleasant with very appropriate music.
