La Favola sur Nice

30/06/2026: A great find in the neighborhood. Thank you to this restaurant owner for the excellent cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

20/06/2026: I went to lunch with some friends. The restaurant was very nice, the dishes were well-presented, very generous, and very tasty, but the owner's welcome was awful… not warm at all, arrogant, even aggressive in his manner of speaking, with absolutely no self-control. It seemed like ordering what we wanted bothered him… I can understand that it's not easy managing everything alone, between serving and cooking, since he's the one who does the cooking, so there's the stress of wearing both hats at once. He doesn't have time to chat, but I think that despite the circumstances, being warm and smiling is the least he could do. It's his trademark, after all. Frankly, throughout the entire meal, my friends and I were very uncomfortable because we could feel his stress, which led to a lackadaisical attitude. We just wanted to finish eating and leave. It wasn't pleasant at all. Aside from that, the food is very good and well-presented, but that's the only positive point because the stressful atmosphere is very heavy and oppressive. Ultimately, unfortunately, it didn't make us want to go back. It's a shame because if it weren't for this major problem, I would have recommended it… so, if you want a warmer welcome and a meal without experiencing this stress, I don't recommend this restaurant.
