I came with my Spanish girlfriend, and I found the perfect place to enjoy the French cuisine I love. She was delighted, and so was I. The service was perfect; they were a little overwhelmed, but we arrived late (Spanish time, 2:30 pm), which I prefer to rushed service (that's just my opinion). The starters—perfect egg and ceviche—were superb. The duck confit for her and the duck breast for me were all top-notch. I'll be back later to try your cassoulet; I love it! I highly recommend it.

I stumbled upon this place by chance and got a table on the terrace at lunchtime without a reservation. The five stars refer to the lunch menu. All three courses for €22 were visually and tastefully perfect.

We were very impressed by the gorgeous French restaurant. The service was very attentive, and the food was uniquely delicious. I find the offer of appetizer+main course+dessert for 35 euros a good deal. The setting is in a typical French style.

A lovely restaurant, real food well cooked. Everything about our experience was authentic. Away from the “Tourist Traps”, yet very central. Probably our best meal having stayed in several towns in the Loire Valley. Very comfortable restaurant and the staff were lovely. Unlike most restaurants there was a good selection of wines by the glass and the quality was excellent. Restaurants like this are few and far between.

Professional and efficient service. Limited menu for lunch, but what was served tasted great. A carafe of water was spontaneously placed on the table free of charge. Always a nice gesture of hospitality. So, recommended for tourists visiting the historic center of the beautiful and lively student city of Angers. The restaurant states that regional tradition and "terroir" are an important theme. A comical combination with the American country rock that blared (quite loudly) from the speaker on the terrace throughout our entire meal.
