Fantastic welcome!
Excellent food. We opted for the weekday lunch special, which included Saint Marcellin cheese toast and caillette salad as starters, followed by steak tartare with fries and ravioli gratin with Saint Marcellin cheese as main courses.
And what's more, the set menu is very affordable at €16.80 for a starter and main course. A great find!

Perhaps the best value for money I've found in Grenoble. It's lovely to be able to eat in a French restaurant, which are becoming increasingly rare in this city. And you won't leave hungry; the portions are more than generous and the service is pleasant. I've been three times and have never been disappointed.

Without further ado, my friend and I decided to share our first experience at La Ferme à Dédé in Grenoble. Beyond the excellent food and pleasant atmosphere, the service, in particular, was the most memorable aspect of our short visit (we're both 25). First, after clearing a table for two, one of the waiters gave it a cursory cleaning without drying it before we were seated. He then provided us with only one paper napkin for the two of us, two sets of cutlery (thankfully...), but no glasses or water carafe, all while the table was still soaking wet. After about twenty minutes, once the water on the table had evaporated, the manager finally offered us menus and brought us our glasses, but... still no water carafe! Once we had ordered, we still only had one napkin and still no water. While serving the next table, one of the waitresses spilled juice from her tray onto our table, without wiping it up afterward, despite having clearly seen her mistake (we would later discover that this is common practice there...). Our two aperitifs, two draft beers, and (miraculously) a bottle of water were brought to us. Just as we were about to clink glasses, the waitress (the same one as always) walked past our table again, bumped into it violently, spilling some of our drinks onto the table and into one of our plates, all accompanied by a dismissive "Whoops!" from her. After waiting in vain for her to return, mop up our table, change the plate, and refill our draft beers, we realized that cleaning up after ourselves was definitely not part of the establishment's etiquette. We then waited 20 minutes for someone to finally react, without success, despite the same waitress repeatedly checking the neighboring tables. It wasn't until our food was brought to us that we pointed out the state of our table to another waiter, who didn't seem particularly bothered, given that he was about to serve the food in the middle of a beer puddle. He then placed the dishes on a neighboring table (which still hadn't been cleared after a good hour) and tried (in vain) to wipe our table and plate with some sort of dirty handkerchief pulled from a suspicious pocket of his apron, concluding with: "All clean!" Between fits of laughter, we ate our meals after completing the "cleaning" by sacrificing a piece of our only napkin. Besides the lack of bread and a spoon for my friend's dish, we enjoyed our delicious gratin, Pépé-style, between bursts of laughter. And that wasn't all... Just as the ever-so-clean gentleman was about to clear our plates, he accidentally knocked my friend's cutlery to the floor. In doing so, some of the food and sauce ended up (again) in the middle of the table, right in front of him. He then calmly retrieved the cutlery without bothering to clean up the spilled food. Realizing we could only manage on our own, we made the difficult decision to sacrifice our last remaining napkin, which we had been sharing since the beginning. We won't even mention the waiters' animosity towards the poor restaurant chairs, which were constantly being mistreated with accidental hip thrusts. Or the use of our neighboring table as a parking spot for a dirty, dripping raclette machine, which had done nothing to deserve it. We did manage to pay the bill, despite the recurring malfunction of the card payment terminal. A huge thank you to the team at La Ferme à Dédé for this unique French dining experience. A new method has been introduced: "Dédé-style service." It remains to be seen whether other establishments will follow suit.

We came to this restaurant because it's right next to our hotel, and it was a great choice. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—very attentive and friendly throughout our meal.
We especially recommend the cheese ravioli and the fondue, which was fantastic and came with a salad with a spectacular dressing. For dessert, we ordered the profiteroles, which were also very good.
We found the quality-price ratio to be quite reasonable. Definitely a highly recommended place if you're in Grenoble. We loved it!
