Very pleasant welcome, place both calm and beautiful, the service was very good, the young waitress Charlotte is very kind and very welcoming, we can see that she likes her work.

Exceptional meal and very welcoming staff. Nature is made with the greatest care. I would come back 1000 times if I could. I highly recommend. Really good evening. Sea and don't change anything. At the top.

Le cadre est très agréable, et le personnel sympathique. Après, la cuisine est correcte, mais elle se rate sur plusieurs points: les escargots sont amers, pas correctement purgés à mon avis, la sauce des ris de veau est banale. La mise en bouche, pompeusement baptisée gazpacho sans qu’elle ait rien à voir avec le plat en question, est limite mangeable : saturée de menthe au parfum, sans aucun goût au palais. Le rapport qualité/prix est correct sans plus. Je donnerais entre 6 et 7 sur 10, surtout pour le cadre et l’accueil

We are cycling through France and we stopped at this hotel and restaurant on our way to Amboise in the Loire valley.The hotel and restaurant is a converted stables and large farmhouse. The main dining area is in the old farmhouse area, which has two large dining rooms and also another area for breakfast. In the main eating area, there is a large wood fireplace on which, the chef cooks on a metal grate . He controls the heat infinitesimally in a very analog manner with a large board that he waves in front of the fire to cause more heat. He throws in logs as necessary. It is a work of art to watch him cook. The menu is varied . My wife and I shared a starter of cured ham, foie gras and smoked trout. It was a perfect start. For the second part of the meal,my wife had the brochet of beef which was done on this open fireplace and was excellent. It was served with a peppercorn sauce. I on the other hand had the Ris de veaux done extremely well on the same grill and served with a creamy mushroom sauce. The service was great. The ambience was wonderful and I would recommend this restaurant if you are traveling through the section of the Loire valley.
