Superb, excellent value for money

Authentic, rustic restaurant, decent. Foie gras in the summer isn't really the best idea! The problem is that it's mandatory. The trout was very good. The duck breasts were cooked rare but unevenly.

If you're looking for authentic farm-style cuisine, this is the place to go! The owner is in charge in the kitchen and prepares everything on-site: authenticity and flavor guaranteed. The homemade foie gras alone is worth the trip. Thank you for this delicious experience and the warm welcome. Highly recommended! But remember to book!

Exceptional restaurant! The meal, the atmosphere, and the service were incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! The meat was cooked to perfection and the seasoning of all the dishes was absolutely flawless. 🙂

Great experience and great value for money

It's a shame the gentleman asked us to move after we were seated. His lack of courtesy (no greeting, just a curt "Did you have a reservation?" followed by "Who seated you here?") made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. The food itself was very good, and the two ladies were genuinely smiling and friendly. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because of this gentleman.

The complimentary welcome drink and hot soup of the day were a delightful surprise and immediately created a special ambiance. The real specialty of this establishment, however, lies in its meat preparation. It is grilled over an open fire fueled by real wood. This cooking method imparts a distinctive, clearly perceptible flavor and sets this meat apart from more conventional preparations made on professional gas grills or with other equipment. Imagine a perfectly cooked lamb chop or an excellent beef steak, with that delicate aroma of fire and wood… This is precisely what makes this place so special, deserving of great recognition and immense respect for the chef. It is a true paradise for meat lovers. The other dishes are fresh, carefully prepared, and flavorful, and the desserts are also very good. However, it should be noted that due to the nature of the place and its specialty, those primarily seeking vegetarian cuisine may not find as much to be excited about. La Ferme d’Espiau is definitely worth the trip, even if it means going out of your way. It's an address that will stay with you for a long time.

We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The food was very good, the service was simple, and the whole place was charming and rustic. It's friendly, and we all served ourselves from the same dish. I highly recommend it.
