The Guichard farm, located above Hauteville, near the Col de la Rochette pass, is a place worth discovering.
In a verdant setting, you can enjoy their specialty: Savoyard fondue (plain, with Savagnin wine, or with porcini mushrooms), served directly in a hollowed-out loaf of bread toasted in the oven, accompanied by a salad and a charcuterie platter.
You can also opt for the equally high-quality set menus at €44 or €48.
The staff and chef are very friendly and welcoming.
After lunch, we walked to the Planachat viewpoint (a 20-minute walk) where we admired Mont Blanc.

I wanted to introduce the farm and Chef Fabrice's cuisine to people who appreciate good food. They had to travel a few kilometers, but they were delighted and felt the journey was well worth it. As a bonus, they also got a view of Mont Blanc from the Panachat viewpoint. I'll definitely schedule another trip for those who signed up. I've also visited the farm during the day. I did a night hike there and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially after the glass of mulled wine served by the chef himself. And of course, the evening in the dining room was wonderful.
