Very friendly, well eaten and slept very well

Two days of improvised hiking in heatwave weather on the beloved Retord plateau, with snacks from the bag and a night in a tent on the grounds of the Ferme de Retord. The shower at the Farm was very appreciated, as well as the large wake-up coffee (terrace, wooden tables, etc.) The big downside (which is a hassle if you are looking for a place protected from radiofrequency magnetic fields) is is the absence of a wifi network, and the inability to pay by credit card. Note that it is prudent to reserve (and have cash, or your checkbook) if you want to be sure of being able to enjoy a good full meal prepared on site, and treat yourself (oh luxury!) to a sweet night "on hard ground". Maybe 5 stars next time, if all the stars manage to align peacefully ;-)

Here we eat simple but high quality, with superb quantities. Everything is fresh and artisanal, but above all we enjoy it!

Very nice place with a sense of mountain refuge welcome: possibility of sleeping on site or pitching a tent, eating on site or accessing a very well equipped out-of-bag room. The two people who run the place are very friendly. I recommend?

Very nice place that deserves more visitors. on the GTJ, potable tank water, shower, €20 per night, fully equipped room. Nice sitter, cool cat. Bucolic panorama. I didn't eat, but you have to make a reservation to eat.

Doing the gtj Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. the manager received me with open arms and made me eat the 34 km today with a bad weather forecast for 4 days, thank you again for this welcome.

Well equipped, friendly welcome, good signage for arriving on foot. This is the place to stay if you are hiking in the plateau.

To do when doing the GTJ, quite isolated place on the plateau, simple but you eat well and the welcome is friendly.

De passage en tant que randonneur, des hôtes très accueillant avec des repas bons et généreux avec des produits de qualités. Les couchages sont simples mais suffisant. Je recommande vivement !
