Excellent restaurant, original and delicious dishes, very welcoming staff. I highly recommend.

Everything was good from start to finish. A very good Welcome, impeccable and good service Pace. The room is very beautiful. The dishes are Gastronomic, not very expensive and inventive, Well presented. This restaurant is one of the Best of La Rochelle.

Having been to this restaurant several times, this last time I was a little disappointed with the menu. We took the menu for €37. The starter, nothing to say, but the fish of the day, saithe, a very good fish but also very cheap, was served with a fromage blanc. However, this sauce, barely a tablespoon, has never been a white butter. Nantais white butter is made with a reduction of shallots and whipped with butter. Now, we had the impression that it was a ready-made sauce bought at Métro. My father was a restaurateur and I know French cuisine well having run a table d'hôte in Gironde. A Rochelaise for 30 years, I don't think I'll come back to this restaurant. Too bad the welcome was very nice.

Good morning, You ask me for my opinion by email so I will take the time to answer you honestly. Concerning the quality of the dishes I think that we are far below what I have experienced at your place, apart from the desserts. The service, nothing to complain about after a season in limbo. In terms of atmosphere, I booked via your site and I didn't know that we were in the middle of the film festival, I think that you should have taken the time to contact the tables that were not part of the festival in order to warn them by telephone or send a short note explaining the situation, because ultimately we ate in a horrible hubbub. Morality, you were one of my favorite restaurants in La Rochelle, a priori this is no longer the case. I will try it again this winter to confirm or not this bad impression. Yours truly.

Accueil très sympathique. Repas tout simplement excellent. Nous avons mangé à La Fleur de sel après une recommandation de l’Hotel dans lequel nous logeons mais ne regrettons absolument pas d’avoir ecouté ce conseil.

Une très bonne expérience, avec un accueil sympathique, des plats de très grande qualité cuisinés à base de produits frais, un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande vivement la fleur de sel !
