Best meal we had all week in Alpe D’Huez. The service was friendly and the food was delightful. Best steak I’ve ever had and the pricing was very reasonable. All the family loved the food. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

A fantastic experience at La Fondue en Folie! We enjoyed a delicious Savoyard fondue, perfectly prepared and generous. The atmosphere of the restaurant is family and warm, with a truly original concept: the bread baskets suspended above the tables add a playful and unique touch. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we were even treated to a complimentary digestive after the meal. A friendly address that I recommend 100%! Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful evening!

22/11/2025: Excellent staff, even out of season. Fast, efficient, and friendly. Good, generous portions, and plenty of choice. Most importantly, remember to book if you want a table.
18/08/2025: Good food overall, we ate quite well. One of the only restaurants in Alpe d'Huez that serves workers' menus for those who work there on construction sites. The only downside is that a waitress (who I think is the owner's daughter) is ungrateful, never smiles, and you feel like you're in the way. They're lucky to have a monopoly because it's one of the only restaurants open year-round for those who work there; otherwise, people would go to the competition because of this lady. It's a shame, because the value for money is decent for the workers.
