14/04/2026: Go without hesitation, the fondue (royal for us) is excellent and made in the purest Savoyard tradition. The waiter (who is also the owner) and his partner (who cooks) are warm, smiling, and friendly people. From the "mountain" ambiance to the drinks and dessert, everything was perfect for us.

08/04/2026: Absolutely lived our stay at the Grandes Rousses. The hotel was amazing, staff very helpful and the views were incredible. I’d say probably the best in the whole resort. We had a mezzanine room which was great for 3 adults and 1 child. Ski lockers are very convenient as is the standing ski lift that stops outside . We ate at both restaurants and the food was really good, as were the drinks and cocktails were so good! We loved going in the pool late afternoon for a post ski dip and again, incredible views of the resort! Can not recommend this hotel enough!

05/05/2026: A warm and friendly welcome; you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A south-facing terrace, great music... It's more than comfortable! The chai latte is absolutely incredible, the drink of my entire stay! The same goes for the mulled wine, clearly the best in the resort. Everything is homemade, which really sets it apart from other places. The staff is kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I highly recommend this place! Thank you! 21/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The welcome was exceptionally warm and the service attentive. The waiter immediately created a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. His advice on the menu and wine selection was invaluable, and the cuisine was delicious and refined. The service remained seamless from beginning to end.

21/05/2026: We went to this restaurant in Huez for lunch, hoping to have a pleasant time. Unfortunately, the experience was largely ruined by a particularly unpleasant welcome. Before even being seated, we simply asked the waiter for some information about the dishes on offer, specifically whether there was a daily special. His response was curt: we had to sit down first to find out the menu… Fair enough. But once seated, when we asked again, he replied sarcastically that if we wanted a daily special, we should just go down to Bourg-d’Oisans… The meal, however, was quite good, with well-presented dishes. Unfortunately, that's the only positive point we'll remember. When it came time for dessert, we asked the price before ordering, which seems perfectly normal. Again, the waiter's inappropriate response: "Don't you want the price of the coffee too?" Coffee which we eventually ordered… at €3 for an espresso. In short, this restaurant could be a good place if the service matched the quality of the food. It especially needs a proper waiter with a genuine sense of service and a genuine desire to welcome guests. But that seems unlikely when the waiter is, apparently, the owner's son. My advice: steer clear.

14/04/2026: Ideally located at the intersection of a red and a green run, making it accessible to everyone, with a large terrace and plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the incredible view 🤩 The service was super friendly. The blueberry tart was really delicious and beautifully presented.

10/04/2026: We booked Pinocchio for a birthday celebration with a group of 20 (9 adults and 11 kids), and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating, with a lovely, quaint atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We were seated upstairs at 6pm, and it was very bright—so much so that sunglasses were needed as there was no awning—but once the sun goes down, this isn’t an issue. The food was outstanding—fresh, homemade pasta and delicious pizzas that everyone enjoyed. A special mention goes to our waitress, who was absolutely brilliant. She managed our large group single-handedly with patience and professionalism, even as the kids kept changing their orders! We had one of the best evenings and are so grateful to the entire team at Pinocchio for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

30/03/2026: As every year, I thoroughly enjoyed myself: arincini as a starter with a nice little salad, followed by an excellent pizza. Very good products. A tip: make a reservation!
