Parking is easy as they have a customer parking lot.
The place is always busy with French customers, which was a plus for us.
They offer two set menus. One for €18 was quite good, judging by what we saw at other tables. Then there's the Fontaine menu for €29, with more French-style options, which is the one we chose.
The dishes are prepared with care. Delicious, with generous portions and good presentation.
Wine is extra. It's advisable to book through their website.
The service is attentive and friendly, which is especially appreciated since we don't speak any French.
In short, it's an excellent place if you're traveling through Saint-Émilion and the surrounding area.
This isn't the first time I've eaten at this restaurant with friends, family, or just my husband. We've known it since its beginnings in Castillon itself... and recommend it without hesitation. The owners and staff are professional and very friendly... the restaurant is warm and spotless 👌 and the food is delicious and very generous... despite what some malicious people might say, posting misleading photos and gratuitously nasty comments... those who prefer McDonald's, move along 😂 We prefer real French cuisine! We've never been disappointed!!
The meal was exquisitely refined, excellent value for money. The staff was top-notch. We highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions like tonight's Valentine's Day, as well as for their regular meals throughout the week, which are always varied and of high quality.
