La Forge sur Le Subdray

First dinner at this restaurant. It probably won't be the last. A truly wonderful discovery. The food is refined and sophisticated. Each dish is carefully considered, and you can feel the desire to share a love of fine ingredients. The welcome and service were fantastic. A lovely memory for my mother's birthday; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent restaurant with a delicious mix of flavors, homemade bread, a nice amuse-bouche, and very pleasant and professional staff.

We had lunch there one day. The three-course menu was excellent. The house cocktail to start was perfectly balanced. There were thoughtful touches at the beginning and end of the meal. Congratulations to the chef; the menu was original, delicious, and everything was homemade. The presentation was perfect. We received a very warm welcome, both friendly and professional, from the chef's charming partner. We were able to congratulate the chef at the end of the meal, and he certainly deserved it. The price of €32 for the menu is quite reasonable considering the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Family meal (9 people) on the terrace in a wonderfully pleasant setting, surrounded by the peace and quiet of the countryside and nature. The price for Sunday lunch was €49, but given the refined meal and the presentation of the dishes, it was perfect. The chef brought amuse-bouches, followed by a starter, main course, another amuse-bouche of goat cheese and wild garlic mousse, dessert, and petits fours to accompany the coffee/herbal tea (the herbal tea was also very good). We arrived around 12:15 pm and left around 3:30 pm, just like a proper birthday meal at home, where we had time to chat and enjoy ourselves. I recommend it 200%! I can't wait to go back. And very importantly, the chef inquires about food allergies and intolerances.

We had a wonderful time at La Forge restaurant. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was remarkably well-prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back as often as possible.

A truly wonderful restaurant! We enjoyed the very affordable weekday lunch menu (amuse-bouche, starter, main course, dessert, and a little something extra brought by the young chef himself) for €32. Everything was perfect: refined dishes and beautifully presented plates. Bravo! We can't wait to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the terrace. Remember to book.
