La Frégate sur Dieppe

I had the pleasure of dining at La Frégate yesterday, and I must say the experience was excellent from start to finish. The setting is warm and inviting, very clean, and you immediately feel welcome. The staff is attentive, smiling, and available without being intrusive, which truly makes a difference in a restaurant. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh, expertly prepared, and the dishes arrive as beautiful as they are tasty. Special mention goes to the perfectly executed cooking and the truly balanced flavors. You can tell that everything is made with care, from the appetizer to the dessert. The atmosphere is pleasant and convivial, allowing for a very relaxed experience. The value for money is also excellent, especially considering the quality of the food served.

We had a wonderful dinner, from the appetizer to the dessert; the first scallops of the season were a delight. Thomas, the waiter, was incredibly friendly and professional. We will definitely be back next year.

Excellent value for money. I ordered smoked salmon as a starter, which was very good, and cod loin with chorizo ​​sauce as a main course. I was initially hesitant after reading the reviews, but very pleasantly surprised. The food is good, the service is friendly, I recommend it.

The food is good, but I think it's a bit silly to advertise dishes they don't actually make as specials on the menu. It's not cool not to tell the customer beforehand.

Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €23.50 with a view of the port – perfectly acceptable, though not exceptional. Bonus: our dog was very welcome.

We came to eat at your restaurant for lunch today and we weren't very happy with the dishes we ordered: oysters, seafood trio, and goat cheese salad. These were followed by mussels marinière or cream sauce (where was the cream?), lots of onions, and no white wine. Apart from the ribeye steak, which was very tender, the rest left much to be desired; even the floating island dessert was overcooked. So, not a great meal at all.

We just had breakfast on Saturday morning. It was very good. There are a lot of regulars, you can tell this place is popular. The managers are very friendly.

The mussels and sauce weren't great. Dessert was very good.
