We were seeking shelter from the rain and wind while waiting for our timed ticker to the Louvre, and we happened on La Fregate! It was open early, and they serve all items from the menu at any time. I enjoyed their French Onion Soup for breakfast (I've been looking for it for days, haha). The server was amazing. She spoke English well, and was so friendly and hospitable. I'm so glad our path led us to this restaurant!

A lovely corner café not far from the Louvre. Very friendly staff, a bit of traffic noise sitting outside. but don’t let that put you off. We only stopped for drinks but the menu looked very good.

Very nice restaurant right on the Seine near the Louvre. The food is great. Very tasty, the quality is right and the price-performance ratio is right here. The service was also great. Everything was quick, very friendly and accommodating. So if you are in Paris, the restaurant is recommended.

Stopped in for a coffee on our way to a Seine boat tour, coffee was great, decor was lovely a kind of old style Paris, Service was great slightly let down by the waiter who just flung the menu's on the table. However the toilets were most disappointing only one for ladies & one for men, ladies had quite a wait, mens were tatty with tiles missing around the flusher and the flusher it'self just plastic jutting out from the wall. For such a quaint little restaurant let down by the toilets.

01/04/2024: The food was very tasty but filling! Great service our server was Mellon who was very nice! Happy hour non-alcoholic cocktails were very good. Would recommend.

05/02/2024: What a great list of beers, both local, artisanal, small production and from other corners of Europe. A very interesting dining menu too, from onion soup to flank steak. The beers on the menu are classified by brewer and by type, which is really conducive to discovery. And there's something for everyone. From Happy Hour to 75Cl bottles, the prices are really reasonable. (From €3.50 to €12.50) The service is really good. Fast, smiling and very funny while remaining really efficient. #: microbrewery, craft beers, French menu, restaurant, bar, bistro, City of Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés
