We stopped off for a light lunch. Moules frites and a pizza . The pizza was a thin crust Napoli type which was tasty and hot. The mussels were in a delicious sauce , very tasty although small it didn’t matter , the sauce was one of the best we have had . Service was good from the two young staff. Only problem was outside we were pestered by wasps and had to go inside. There must be a wasp nest nearby

A disappointing experience. We had the pizza and beef bourguignon. The pizza was mediocre at best and beef wasn’t good. The staff is a mix of aloofness and apathy. We won’t be back, even If we were local we would not go back.

Took a while to take our order, then 45 minutes to receive it (2×margarita pizzas, salad & fries). They didn't bring the fries but didn't charge for them either. Salad leaves and dressing were amazing! Pizzas were so- so (more like a flat bead, too much oregano) Had to ask a couple of times for water.

A very warm welcome. The service was quick and excellent, without any rush. The mussels and fries were extraordinary, from the creamy sauce to the cider. The homemade fries were delicious, not greasy at all. A generous selection of gourmet coffees and a variety of desserts were also provided.
Highly recommended.

There were nine of us, each ordering different dishes. Everyone found their meal excellent, both in terms of taste and portion size.
The young servers were very attentive and helpful. The very kind owner took some time to chat with us. The entire team was very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely time at "La Fringale" restaurant.

We had a lovely evening on August 15th. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the portions were generous, the atmosphere was friendly, and the decor was nice. The management was very accommodating, offering us a digestif we hadn't tried before, a bottle of 44. Thank you to all the staff, and see you soon.

At a table for nine, we enjoyed a wide variety of dishes: meat, andouillette sausage, pizzas, and salad. All the dishes were delicious and plentiful. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the service was quick. We'll definitely return if we're ever back in the area.

We stopped at La Fringale during our visit to Bayeux.
We ordered a Caesar salad, a goat cheese salad, and a burrata salad, all beautifully presented and generous.
The ice cream was also very good.
