We came for lunch after reading the various reviews. We weren't disappointed. We hadn't booked, but the welcome, service, and meal lived up to the comments. We had a very pleasant time on this snowy day, and we were able to warm up without any pressure to leave the table at the end of our meal. If you want to have a good time, we recommend this restaurant.

The beef bourguignon was good, despite the lack of vegetables. Some of the fries tasted frozen, so I don't know if they're truly homemade as described.

Every time I come to Savoie, I have lunch with friends at La Frite Dorée. We're never disappointed. The establishment and restrooms are very clean. The food is good and plentiful. The service is friendly.

A very nice restaurant with a warm welcome and attentive service, even for our dog. The fries are excellent, but that's not all. The establishment is very clean and has a beautiful decor. We love it and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 😉

25/10/2025: Very nice restaurant/bar! Homemade food, ample portions, very friendly setting, welcome and service. Despite the small size of the room, we didn't feel like we were stuck to the other tables. In short, we had a good time and we ate well 😅
15/10/2025: We arrived for a quick bite to eat, and what a wonderful discovery! Pleasant welcome, a short menu, but pure joy. Given the difficulty of choosing (sic) with only five suggestions, we ordered two different dishes. The result: two taste bud delights. We had to have the desserts...homemade. A treat to finish off the meal. A wonderful discovery, and we'll keep this address in mind for our next visit to Chambé. THANK YOU

05/01/2026: A lovely evening last summer, a really nice café, great menu. A magical little place :)
21/10/2025: A third place with divine cuisine and drinks galore, all seasonal! And to top it all off, a very warm welcome. What more could you ask for :)
