La Frite Dorée sur Chambery

I came about a year ago, and the staff was terrible. I came this weekend, and there's a new staff, super friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing. I'll definitely be back.

The service was mediocre, and the fries were lukewarm when they arrived with the chicken. The price was high for what you get! I don't recommend it! I won't be going back.

A couple's experience, a Saturday lunchtime visit to Chambéry. I completely agree with the positive reviews about the welcome and courtesy: the staff is attentive and caring. However, I don't understand the negative comments about the food. The fries, for example, are much better than the fast food places mentioned by some. Or perhaps it's just that we're used to fast food fries. And they get seconds! Regarding the dishes, nothing terrible as some have written: both dishes we ordered were perfectly respectable, and even a pleasant surprise with the diots (sausages) that weren't swimming in grease: on the contrary, a light and flavorful sauce that wasn't overpowering. A walnut salad with walnut oil and a main course for €23, nothing to complain about. And given how busy it was that day, outside of holidays and vacation periods, my opinion is justified.

The welcome and service were great. The fries were good, but paying €21.90 for the same steak as at Carrefour is quite outrageous.
