La Fromagerie sur Viry

Discovered by chance on our holiday road trip. The atmosphere, the food, the service... everything was perfect. The fondue and charcuterie, despite the heat (30°C), were excellent!

In this heatwave, we were welcomed in the evening onto the terrace where it was already very pleasant... after a delicious ribeye steak followed by dessert for those with a sweet tooth, we didn't want to leave, we were so comfortable... thank you very much

I've rarely had the opportunity to give 5 stars to a place I've visited, let alone 5 stars in all three areas! I had a wonderful evening, with attentive, kind, and incredibly humane staff! My husband had been meaning to take me there for so many years that I'm so glad I finally went!! I had the classic fondue, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, we had to choose between fondue, raclette, tartiflette, and pierrade... So our choice was quickly made, but if everything else is this good, go for it! We will definitely be back. Friendly and welcoming waitress

A wonderful discovery for lovers of Savoyard cuisine! The charcuterie was of very high quality and the fondue was simply excellent; generous and flavorful, a real treat. One small drawback: a green salad on the side would have been welcome to add a touch of freshness to the meal. As for the service, it was adequate but clearly lacked warmth and friendliness. Finally, the place could use a little updating, as the atmosphere is rather dated. Despite these minor points, we had a great time and will certainly return.

This little restaurant was a lifesaver! I was cycling and went in to ask to use the restroom. Three very welcoming and smiling women immediately said yes without hesitation. I noticed the changing table and a child's toilet seat reducer, which I thought was pretty cool for families. Being new to the area, I'll definitely be back for a meal!

This restaurant doesn't look like much, but it's often full, much to our dismay! We come often and the quality never drops; it's always excellent! It's a shame the fries aren't homemade, but otherwise, there's not much to complain about.

We ate as a couple (a man and a woman) on the Pierrade with three meats, served with salad and fries. We were offered a small appetizer (small sausages). The service was good, even though the waitress didn't speak many other languages ​​very well. The portions were generous. We didn't need to order anything extra to feel full. There were three sauces to choose from: cocktail mayonnaise and garlic mayonnaise.
