The Savoyard fondue with porcini mushrooms was delicious. Warm welcome and cozy, vintage decor. A very good place to eat.

There were four of us, and we had a fantastic meal! It had been ages since I'd had such a delicious and creamy four-cheese fondue! The burger was very generous, as was the marinated meat. The servers were attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was very good, although the feeling of having to leave for the second seating was more pronounced this year compared to our previous visits. Nevertheless, we will return without hesitation.

We went there 3 times during the week. I think there are some dishes missing from the children's menu, and in the adult menu the portions are enormous so you can't finish, which is a shame. Then the second time I went, it was for lunch and we only had 40 minutes, we told them, and they said we could have a salad which would take 20 minutes. The salad didn't arrive after 50 minutes so we had to cancel, so we didn't eat...

Always a pleasure to book at La Fruitière. Chic mountain atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, truly fresh and delicious cuisine: gourmet burgers for the guys, linguine and trout for the girls. Desserts to die for: chocolate and mandarin fondant, lemon tart 😋

The two seatings (7 pm & 9 pm) made dinner a bit rushed. We were asked to leave a little before 9 pm. Otherwise, the dishes were very good (tartiflette, porcini mushroom fondue, and desserts). Warm atmosphere.

Chez Arthur - La Clusaz

28/03/2026: A pleasant, self-service mountain restaurant with good food and a daily changing special. Drinks are served at your table. Good value for money (drinks not included, as prices are typical for a restaurant on the slopes). The staff are particularly welcoming and friendly (a special shout-out to Gaultier and Clément), and they clearly care about their customers' comfort (both on the terrace and inside). For non-skiers, it's easy to arrive by car and park in the lot on the other side of the slope.
27/03/2026: I came with a group during the last week of the Zone C school holidays, and since it wasn't overcrowded on the slopes, I was able to find a spot quite easily on the large terrace. The self-service area is very well organized, which makes it fairly smooth despite the queue that starts right on the terrace. There's a good selection, and the food is quite tasty and served in generous portions. For a mountain self-service restaurant, it's rather well done. However, the hot dishes are a bit lukewarm, and despite the nice weather, we were eating almost cold food by the time we got to our table. On the other hand, and this isn't meant to nitpick, the coffee is really bad. The espresso, which costs €2, is extremely short. So I ordered a second coffee, a long one this time. €3.20 for an undrinkable, tasteless, pale beige brew. An extra €1.20 for 10cl of water is really unacceptable. I mentioned it to the waiter, who simply replied, "Sorry." Ten of us had just shelled out €500. A free coffee would have been the least they could do. I suggested it. He told me it wasn't possible. Small-time business. What a shame.
