We regularly visit La Gabare when we are in the Magny-Cours area for racing events, and it is always a pleasure to come back. The food is excellent, the service is consistently very good, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy our time here and have had nothing but positive experiences. A great restaurant that definitely deserves to be better known in the region and a place we are always happy to recommend. SKR Performance

The €32 set menu was perfectly acceptable. We ate very well (the calf's head vinaigrette was excellent, flavorful, and a generous portion). However, I found the (old-fashioned) chairs very uncomfortable, and the wine prices (in my opinion) excessive, which will deter me from returning to this establishment.

A very pleasant surprise! I've been meaning to go for years. The €32 set menu was excellent value for money; everything from the starter to the dessert was delicious, and the service was impeccably professional. A great place, I'll be back! 👍👍👍

Excellent cuisine featuring quality ingredients, beautifully enhanced by the chef's skill. The fennel with haddock and shrimp is exquisitely delicate. Attentive service and a lovely dining room, perfectly reflecting the charm of this beautiful country building.

30/01/2026: A real gem! I had lunch at this restaurant today and honestly… the best value for money I've ever had. The €18 set menu (starter/main/dessert) was perfect. For a team of only three, the service was incredibly fast, super well-organized, and always with a smile. You can feel the warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. As for the food, nothing to complain about: top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared. The leg of lamb literally melted in your mouth, a real treat, and the tiramisu for dessert was simply divine. The chef is clearly top-notch, incredibly skilled, and it shows in the food. Special mention to the team: • The server is lovely, smiling, and incredibly welcoming, • The guy behind the bar is as kind as can be, • and the kitchen is run by someone truly talented. The dining room is spacious and attractive, the tables are well-set, and you really feel comfortable there. Another big plus: parking right next to the restaurant, so parking is easy and stress-free. In short, a restaurant where everything comes together: quality, price, atmosphere, and service. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.
