A friendly and welcoming place. Seems to be a local favorite, which is a good sign. Very affordable prices for a daily special, lasagna, or pizza.

La Gabelle is the best pizzeria in Villefranche, without a doubt, unbeatable in terms of value for money. All the staff are incredibly kind and efficient, and the service is always quick. As for the food, the gold medal goes to the salmon lasagna, which I must have eaten at least twenty times (not all at once, of course). It's true that we used to come almost once a week; it's a little less frequent since we moved a bit further away, but you'll always hold a special place in our hearts. We try our best to get takeaway pizzas whenever we're in the area, which we did tonight, and they were as excellent as ever. The goat cheese and honey pizza was my favorite. And what can we say about your homemade desserts? They're excellent, and your profiteroles are so comforting and generous, just like you. We love you. Laura and Thomas. 🫶🏽
