Last night I invited a couple of friends to a restaurant, and La Gaieté Léréenne had been highly recommended. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome, with smiles and kindness from the owner and the young woman behind the bar. The evening went very well, with delicious dishes, impeccable service, a glass of Sancerre Blanc that I recommend with the fish, and an excellent dessert to finish it all off... In short, we had a wonderful time, and now it's my turn to recommend this lovely restaurant where we really enjoyed the atmosphere! Thank you to the chef, and to you ladies. Excellent restaurant, plus a great selection of whiskeys, which I appreciated 😉. We loved everything about the meal, from the appetizer to the dessert; it was all delicious. The service was very pleasant, and the owner and waitress were always smiling. A great place to eat, we'll definitely be back. Stay just the way you are, perfect 😉.

Lovely meal. Very good value. The waitress was very welcoming and patient as our French was not good, she was very helpful with one of our group who is pregnant, explaining what she could eat. The food was delicious as was the wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and would recommend it
