La Galere sur Le Grau-Du-Roi

We came today, August 15th, in the evening, for 7 people. Reservations are not possible at this establishment, which I don't really understand, but oh well. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. And then we were turned away, even though there were unoccupied tables. A bit of a rant, but the owner tried to sort things out and quickly found a solution. So I won't dwell on the negative side of this establishment. In terms of food, it's a brasserie, not a restaurant, so you shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine, but good food. The service was fast despite the crowds on this day of fireworks and a public holiday. Just a small note about one dish: the sea bream fillet I ate was over-seasoned with olive oil, but otherwise very good. The portion of fries is limited for each side dish. But no big deal, the next meal will surely be better. The staff is top-notch, responsive, and efficient. See you soon, maybe 🙃

Very good mussel restaurant with delicious sauces. Impeccable, friendly and fast service. A good address on the market square for Sundays.

It's always said that you should check the restrooms before eating at a restaurant; it's a good indicator of the kitchen's cleanliness... the restroom was filthy, the floor in front of the bar was very dirty... the mussels were reheated, you could tell by the shriveled mussels... very few fresh mussels... in short, I don't recommend this restaurant, even though the staff are nice... avoid it.

Excellent welcome, fast service, affordable prices. We ordered mussels and fries with aioli, and a superb steak and fries.

A place we come to every year with a top boss and employees, mussels whether in curry sauce, shellfish sauce or even carbonara sauce and many others...just to die for 🤩🤩🤩 I recommend without hesitation 🩵 if you want to eat well, quality and without breaking the bank, go there!

We eat simple dishes there, no fuss, but nothing more. For a quick lunch.

Mixed experience. The mussels are okay, but the fries are reheated considering the crowd. The servers are behind the times, inefficient, and slow. We're still waiting for our bread... The person who took our order tried to sell us two 50cl bottles of water at a higher price instead of a large 1L bottle, under the pretext that there were no more... and in the end, since we only ordered one, they found some large bottles. Too bad, we had good memories of it, but by trying to take on too many customers at once, they mess up everything: the food, the reception, and the service. Food for thought Food for thought

Small restaurant on the square (outdoor table), the service is decent, not necessarily very fast but still decent (full restaurant) to try when it's less busy. The quality of the dishes is good, the quantity is smaller. As for the bull meat and 400g, the quality is good, the cooking is respected but on the other hand I doubt the 400g because I clearly remained hungry (I could have eaten 2). The fries are decent (just cooked a bit more), the quantity is average but doesn't stand out. The price is not excessive except for the meat where I am still disappointed.
