At ISA Sometimes around a small village we make great discoveries, this restaurant is one of them! Patrick in the wine merchant and connoisseur room, and Isa in the kitchen, they know how to highlight good local products, the room is not very big, but in summer a beautiful shaded terrace invites you to have a good time. Established rule, no more than 30 seats in the room to maintain good service and homemade dishes. The menus offered are very balanced and tasty, daily formula, dessert course or complete menu for less than €25, no frozen foods here, all dishes are simmered on site in the kitchen on demand, and as you go; the simmered pork cheek, slow cooking, with its mashed potatoes in its small stainless steel casserole dish, is a real killer! or rather authenticity! The dishes are copious, well seasoned and very tasty, gourmets will also appreciate the gourmet coffee for a modest supplement, it would be a shame to deprive themselves of it. The Strawberry tiramisu is also well mastered. This small village does not offer many restaurants and Chez Isa, formerly the Gardonnenque restaurant, is best made in advance. In addition, Patrick, a wine lover and connoisseur, also knows how to recommend regional grape varieties, he does not hesitate to offer you a taste and you can buy here excellent Côtes du Rhône, an intimate vintage! The welcome is equal to the table, smile, friendliness, and speed if necessary. Generosity and simplicity are adjectives that perfectly suit this establishment for its welcome and its dishes. Small details that are very important to us, cloth tablecloths and napkins, black and green olives are served at the table and await you for an aperitif, and the crunchy poppy seed bread is to die for, a real guilty pleasure , creamy crumb, crunchy crust, we enjoy it without hunger and without end. To conclude it is the perfect note, quality, conviviality in good humor and simplicity, we are family. Well done

A treat from every point of view, the cuisine (the calf's head), the cook who prepares good old-fashioned dishes) the atmosphere (the boss alone is worth the detour, friendly, amusing, doesn't make someone else's job). In short, I recommend this restaurant for very good value for money. It's a shame that it only opens at lunchtime, but at an age when many aspire to retire, these people continue to delight us.

Having just visited le Pont du Gard, we were en route for les Grands Causses for more tourism. Approaching 2pm, we still hadn’t had lunch. We stopped in the small village of Lédignan and found Chez Isa — and I’m glad we did! Many restaurants would have stopped service by 2pm, but here we were warmly greeted. One of the reasons I love taking back roads in France is that you will always discover such gems as Chez Isa. Une cuisine de femme, une cuisine d’artiste. The plat du jour was so tasty… definitely worth a detour.
