La Gare Bar a vin sur Soucieu-En-Jarrest

The restaurant is interesting and well-suited for an aperitif, charcuterie board, or focaccia with wine for connoisseurs; the wine list is very good. However, it's disappointing for a more traditional meal: a very limited menu, no salads, not enough choices, and very few vegetables or side dishes to accompany the meat. In short, it's a wine bar.

Warning: This is an exceptional place! The warm welcome from the staff, the cuisine, and their impeccable knowledge of wines and spirits make this an essential stop during your stay in the Lyon region. A wonderful discovery. Thank you for this delightful experience and for all the future ones!

The setting is lovely, the decor is beautiful. However, the food quality leaves much to be desired, the service is very slow, and there's no wine recommendation. It's a shame, especially considering the owner is a professional sommelier.

A wonderful evening, with good wine, a delicious charcuterie board, and amazing focaccia. Very friendly and welcoming. A lovely setting with a garden terrace and pétanque court, or an air-conditioned room. Charly knows all about the products, both food and drink, and speaks very highly of them.

A fantastic place for a great evening with friends. The staff are attentive and accommodating, the sharing platters are excellent, made with quality ingredients, and the wine list seems endless with expert and tailored recommendations. We'll definitely be back, and many times over!

Restaurant avec un cadre charmant. Nous y avons mangé à midi en Juillet, à priori il manquait du personnel et cela s'est ressenti car le service était peu agréable, et trop rapide. Le plat est néanmoins arrivé froid, nous avons demandé de le réchauffer, ce qui a été fait mais sans un mot ni excuses. Sinon la cuisine est bonne et les conseils du patron en termes de vins sont appréciables. Reste un peu cher pour un midi.
