La Gargouille sur Barjac

We had an incredible stay. We chose the Saint Louis suite, spacious and with a hammam. This suite offers a very pretty view of the Cévennes, and is pleasantly decorated. The hosts are very flexible about breakfast times, a real plus. Good quality bedding, hearty breakfast, easy location, very pleasant hosts. And a very beautiful decoration. I warmly recommend.

We have had the pleasure of staying at La Gorguille on several occasions and each visit is enchanting. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Tamara, who created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The table d'hôte is simply delicious. Bruno, a true culinary artist, delighted us with his tasty dishes, enhanced by carefully selected wines. Every meal is a true experience. The residence itself is a gem, decorated with charm and elegance. It is a true haven of peace, where you immediately feel at home. The three suites are magnificent, each with its own character and story to tell. We have had the pleasure of returning to La Gourguille three times, and each time, it is a renewed pleasure. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience, full of charm and culinary delights. Thanks to Bruno and Tamara for their exceptional hospitality, we will happily return!

Top-of-the-range services for this guest house where we were warmly welcomed by Bruno and Tamara. The rooms are decorated with great taste and Bruno's cooking is succulent. We will be happy to come back in fine weather to enjoy the terrace and the swimming pool!

We were completely delighted with this comfortable and charming establishment as well as the warm welcome from our excellent hosts. Everything was so well designed and completed in this house of character and history - the details of the themes, colors, fabrics, furniture and accessories in our suite (Venice) perfectly done. The table d’hôte was excellent, as was the breakfast. All in all, a real pleasure. Thanks Bruno and Tamara – we’ll be back!

En grand merci aux hôtes pour ce séjour parfait ! Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de convivialité ! Bruno et Tamara nous ont tout de suite fait nous sentir comme à la maison (sans parler des câlins de Woodstock, Vishnou et Bao Dai!). Le repas servi était délicieux, tout était parfait et nous avons passé une excellente soirée. La bâtisse est magnifique, décorée avec soin et très chaleureuse, de même pour les suites ! Je recommande vivement de vous arrêter à la Gourguille, vous ne serez pas déçus...et j'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner en été pour pouvoir profiter du jardin la prochaine fois ! 😉
