The mussels were fine, the ficelle not really tasty. The mussels had been forgotten. The pan was snatched from the table and returned with the sauce without apology.

Disappointed. Unfortunately, it's no longer the typical, welcoming restaurant we loved so much. The decor has changed and lost all its charm, the local feel is gone, the waitstaff has changed... It's just a restaurant now. We had been coming here regularly for several years. We invited our friends, our children, our grandchildren. Our first dinner together last night after the reopening following renovations. The terrace is not yet open. The menu has changed, not even foie gras (maybe this winter).... We had to ask for a dirty place setting to be replaced. The kir au cassis was made with an old, harsh white wine. Aperitifs were served without any accompaniments. Probably forgotten. They didn't bother to ask us what we wanted to drink. We've never experienced such problems in recent years. Even when the establishment was hosting interns or when the team was overwhelmed by the presence of a large, completely unruly group of English cyclists who were disrupting the team's operations. My wife didn't want me to make any comments, other than requesting a replacement cutlery. The main courses were adequate, nothing more. Generous portions, it's true. Lamb stew and the fish of the day. I doubt I'll be back as often as I used to. It's a shame, as I used to recommend this establishment.
