We had a wonderful meal on vacation. The menu was good, and the smelt with its homemade sauce, the skate wing, the calf's head, the crème brûlée, and the Norman apple tart were all excellent. All for a very reasonable price. The staff is fantastic. Thank you!

Just reopened after renovations…they're well done and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, it was cold (just a pellet stove…) and all the customers kept their coats or scarves on.
The servers were friendly and welcoming.
The food was quite good, but not much was homemade…and compared to the prices…sorry, but the value for money is high.
There's room for improvement.

A perfect dinner.
Excellent value for money for a complete menu at €25!
The Camembert crisp was delicious.
The rump steak was very tender.
And to finish, a delicious dessert.

One advantage, and this is rare enough to be noted now: the prices. A full menu for 25 euros is rare enough to be praised in 2025 (it was 18 euros in 2018, times have changed).
Another advantage: the wait staff manages to keep up even when it's busy.
On the other hand, the kitchen is really not great; no effort seems to have been made in cooking the meats, the food is really basic, it's close to a kebab shop/pub, and completely uninteresting.
Two or three homemade dishes (lol), but still, it's really not great, and even rather low, including the desserts.
Without being atrocious, the advantages I see in this restaurant are the prices, the service, and the location. That's about it, but maybe it's not so bad these days.
