La Gogaille sur Villers-Sur-Mer

I've been coming to La Gogaille for years. It's a restaurant with good value and consistently high quality. They have dishes like the crispy Camembert, which are always a hit. The waiters and waitresses are always very pleasant. The cheerful atmosphere is very enjoyable. A big thank you to the whole team.

The fish rillettes were generous and excellent! The tuna steak with chorizo ​​sauce was a huge surprise, both literally and figuratively, as I was very well served! Thank you to the chef! However, the virgin mojito should be made with crushed ice, please 🤣

A fantastic team for Jojo's 77th birthday on May 2nd! Everyone sang during dessert, and the other customers did too. The "pleasure menus" were delicious; we had a wonderful time. Well done!

The restaurant was well-located, so naturally we decided to give it a try. But what a disappointment! The children had finished their main courses and desserts before we adults had even been served. After a long wait, our plates finally arrived, only to find uninteresting, bland, and undercooked dishes. One of them had a side dish that wasn't the one listed on the menu or mentioned verbally by the waiter. Then came dessert, which ruined the meal even further: a so-called pistachio and strawberry tiramisu. Or rather, a mousse with a sickeningly artificial pistachio flavor, utterly dreadful. I'm giving it three stars because the waitress was pleasant when she realized the adults were late and offered us a free drink. Otherwise, you'd be better off eating at home.
