La Gondole sur Limoges

Like last year, we came as a group of 25 and the service was top-notch 👌 Thank you!

We went as a group of 10 for 7:00 PM, the start of service, having booked 15 days in advance. There were a lot of good reviews about this establishment. Unfortunately for us, we didn't choose the right Saturday! Virgin mojito, no mint. Pizza with mussels, shrimp, and salmon, no mussels. We ordered a pint, arrived with a half-pint. Ordered goat cheese lasagna, arrived with zucchini and eggplant lasagna. We asked for the salad without dressing, arrived with dressing. They changed them. Stracciatella ice cream, no more of that flavor. We found a piece of plastic from the ice cream tub in our coffee cup. There was a child with a chocolate ice cream sundae, which was forgotten and therefore served last... How can I put it... That's a lot for one evening, and in a restaurant that was barely half full... What a shame. The food was good. 3 hours in total to eat one main course and one dessert... Very, very long!!! A small touch with the aperitif would have been appreciated (olives, a small cake). I think there was a communication issue between the staff! Prices were reasonable. We'd wanted to go for a long time, and now we have.

The fresh ingredients on the pizza were really good quality. The Italian wine I was offered was perfect, and the cheese plate was the most beautiful I've ever seen.

We came on Tuesday evening and everything was perfect. The pizzas are excellent, and the Nutella pastry for dessert was a real treat. The staff is very professional, both the bartender and the waitress, who hasn't been there long. The prices are also very reasonable. Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Limoges. We loved it from beginning to end. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Just passing through Limoges. I ordered a takeaway pizza, despite the Valentine's Day rush. The staff were incredibly pleasant and welcoming, even though it was packed. They were very friendly, kind, and incredibly attentive. The pizza was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. Absolutely perfect. A fantastic experience. Thank you La Gondole, you're wonderful, keep it up! 🙂

Superb place, great atmosphere, impeccable service, the pizzas were a little cold but the pasta was excellent.

A great find! I discovered this restaurant during a day out with a friend who chose it because of its varied but not overwhelming menu. The atmosphere was pleasantly intimate, and the service impeccable. The portions were generous but not excessive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Popular enough to make reservations recommended. We were early enough to get a last table but plenty were turned away. Good service during a busy time. The cafe gourmand was better than most. Wine was reasonably priced too but I don’t think that will last.
