Ideally located for exploring Châtellerault, La Gourmandine Hotel is a haven of peace. It's a beautiful place to stay, peaceful and in a unique setting. A special mention goes to the breakfast. A small drawback: a kettle in the room would be welcome, either for early morning breakfasts or evening herbal teas.

03/07/2026: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The meal was perfect, and the dessert was superb (the apricot crumble was a delight). The service was impeccable, with a fantastic waiter. The owners of the inn were very welcoming. We highly recommend this restaurant.
