15/08/2026: I had a Tuscan crêpe, with Guémené andouillette sausage and a small side of whole-grain mustard. It was very good, no complaints.
For dessert, a salted caramel crêpe: simple and satisfying.
The service was impeccable, the staff welcoming, and everything went very smoothly. Good value for money, with prices in line with other crêperies.
A great place to have a good time without any unpleasant surprises. 👍

The menu was excellent. High-quality ingredients in generous portions.

10/09/2026: The owners are very kind and welcoming. We were just passing through, so we only stayed one night. The meal was simple but very good, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed.

Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The cuisine is traditional, generous, and 100% homemade. Simple, delicious, and honest food.
The set menu at €17 (well-stocked appetizer buffet, flavorful main course, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine) is excellent value for money. A real gem on the road, highly recommended.

23/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The service is top-notch, the team is welcoming, friendly, and very professional. The food is homemade, the dishes are excellent, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The parking is easily accessible, which is a real plus. I highly recommend this place; we will definitely be back!

29/09/2025: Ideally located for exploring Châtellerault, La Gourmandine Hotel is a haven of peace. It's a beautiful place to stay, peaceful and in a unique setting. A special mention goes to the breakfast. A small drawback: a kettle in the room would be welcome, either for early morning breakfasts or evening herbal teas.

30/07/2026: Hello, I'm a former resident of Châtellerault, passing through town on July 28th. The Airbnb where I'm staying listed this restaurant, and my partner and I took the opportunity to enjoy some Algerian dishes.
We received a warm welcome from the owner, Wahiba, and the chef prepared very generous portions.
I recommend it.

And I can say that if you have the opportunity when you're passing through, it will be a mandatory stop 😁
What fascinated me and I thought was great is that when you pay and leave tips, the cashier shouts "personnel" and all the employees shout "Merci" 🫠🫠

Very friendly, with pleasant and efficient staff. Drinks and light snacks available during the day, and a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.
14/08/2026: Had a delicious summer salad made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The bread was just about okay, a bit dry. Drinks were reasonably priced. The waitress was a bit grumpy but nice and direct. Will ask if everything tasted good next time?

22/10/2025: A really cool pub. Unique decor, but super relaxed. The few beers I would have tried would have been great! Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends.
15/10/2025: Not being from Châtellerault, I highly recommend this bar/restaurant! The bartender and the waitress were incredibly kind, the kind of hospitality I've rarely experienced. The warm welcome allowed me to truly enjoy my work break. If you're passing by, stop in for a truly exceptional mental break.
