Overall decent dish for 5 people! The foie gras was shared at the top but the salads in dishes were expensive for what I know! Generally correct but still expensive overall and the service unfortunately is not great, lack of smiles and friendliness!

The welcome and the coffee are good. Coffee on the terrace is 3 euros which seems expensive to me.

La quantité dans l'assiette est plutôt faible et la qualité des plats très moyenne. Nous étions 8 personnes donc nous avons pu nous faire un avis sur l'ensemble des convives et des plats. Ce restaurant a la chance d'être bien placé sinon il n'y a rien d'extraordinaire.

Good food accompanied by good service but I think it would be better to review the fries, they look like frozen foods. For my part, the rest was very good, especially the fish and chips and the XL profiterole.

I recently dined at La Grand Rive in La Rochelle, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I had the Roquefort Mulled and the Grand Mule Supreme, both of which were absolutely divine. The Roquefort was perfectly balanced, creamy with just the right amount of sharpness, while the Grand Mule Supreme was a seafood lover’s dream, bursting with fresh flavors. The restaurant itself is beautifully located in the heart of Vieux Port, providing a stunning view that perfectly complements the meal. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend La Grand Rive for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in La Rochelle!

19/05/2024: Great place a few streets back from the waterfront. We went twice, first because of the owners response to a bad Google review five months ago. It was very good work sir The second time because the food and service were so good. Very hard-working and helpful staff.
