A wonderful discovery during a short stay in La Rochelle. It was the menu that first caught our eye, and the location on the old port, without the terrace being overcrowded, which is exactly what we were looking for – peace and quiet.
Inside, the lovely decor and jazzy music made our meal romantic. The service was quick and efficient, the staff very friendly, and the dishes delicious, made with fresh ingredients (grilled meats and mixed fish).
The desserts were also homemade and excellent (panna cotta and red berry tiramisu).
Finally, the view of the port at dusk made everything perfect. A truly great place to recommend and remember.

The service was excellent, provided by the young woman and man. However, a woman dressed in black who greeted prospective customers was not smiling and had an authoritarian voice (madam, a smile would be more pleasant).

The restaurant offers very disappointing value for money. The setting is very chic, the service impeccable and responsive, with plenty of smooth talk, but the food is minimal in both flavor and portion size. Profitability is pushed to the extreme in this touristy spot...meh.

Excellent restaurant, ideally located.
The food is superb; we had sea bass which was delicious. We finished with a panna cotta that was simply divine.

I came with my boyfriend. We'd forgotten to make a reservation and arrived at 9:30 PM, but they still accepted and served us.
We both ordered mussels, which were very good but cold for both of us. A huge plus: the fries were delicious.
The servers were very pleasant, and the service was quick.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but some people were singing and shouting in an unpleasant way, which was a shame, but not a big deal. On the plus side, the restaurant's decor was beautiful; it felt like being on a boat.
I recommend it!

I'm only giving it 3 stars because it was good, but charging €16.50 for 5 knives as a main course is outrageous! I wanted to try it, but luckily the others ordered mussels, which were good and plentiful enough for us to have some too. The mussels are sold separately; you have to pay extra for the fries 🥴. Anyway, it was good, but some things are definitely overpriced…

Great experience, thank you to Lily Rose, who was very helpful and professional. Excellent value for money, a delicious ribeye steak and an excellent tiramisu.
