La Grande Lanière sur Les Gets

It's an ok hotel. Clean, functional and well situated a few metres from the lifts and another slope that takes you straight down. I just think that it is overpriced for what it is.

A lovely spot, right at the bottom of the Turche ski lift. Fast and professional service. Quality products, the food is excellent. Homemade cuisine. Very good mulled wine and chocolate fondant. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.

Having lived in La Turche for 30 years, we come to La Grande Lanière for dinner every year. This year, I was very disappointed despite the warm welcome. There was only one waiter during this school holiday period. The menu was limited… and when it came time to order, there was no more soup, no more pasta, no more fish and chips, no more Savoy white wine… and no more bread (only four pieces) even though there were eight of us. The raclette was okay, nothing special. The ribeye steak and duck breast were good, although the sauce was bland; I'm still looking for the orange flavor. The side dishes were very basic! The desserts were mediocre. In short, a huge disappointment, especially since I loved this family-run place and its delicious, traditional, home-style cooking. It's a shame!
