A lovely little traditional restaurant that we've loved for years. A friendly welcome, delicious food, and very affordable set menus. Ideally located in the center of Rennes. Set menus are €12.90 at lunchtime and €16.90 in the evening for a starter, main course, and dessert—highly recommended!

We had lunch there by chance and what a discovery! The spring rolls and stir-fried noodles with vegetables were delicious, and the steamed shrimp dumplings were very good. We had a very pleasant time; the lady was truly welcoming and friendly. The value for money is unbeatable for such a central location in Rennes. We will gladly return soon.

01/05/2026: My aunt took me there for my first time, and I was instantly hooked. I had a wonderful time at Tran Restaurant. The dishes are simply delicious: (I'm still thinking about the noodles 🤤). The flavors are perfectly balanced and full of authenticity. You can immediately taste the care put into each dish, and the passion for cooking it is evident. The ambiance is also a real highlight! The restaurant is beautiful, pleasant, and above all, impeccably clean, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention to the chef for his talent and the excellence of his dishes, as well as to the restaurant manager for her warm welcome, professionalism, and attentiveness to the customers. You can feel a true mastery of the craft and a genuine desire to do things well. I highly recommend it, and I will gladly return! 🤍 Dona
