During our stay in the region, we ate at La Grange twice. A superb place, everything is homemade, generously portioned, and delicious. The service is just like the food: impeccable. A special thank you to Capucine, Lisa, and Thibault for their professionalism and kindness. We'll definitely be back next year!

I've been to many restaurants (I love to eat!), but this place is a real gem, nestled in such a simple yet incredibly welcoming setting! The food is excellent, that's undeniable... but the atmosphere! I arrived wanting to eat and left practically with a group of friends because the service was so pleasant, friendly, and welcoming! A HUGE thank you and big hugs to all of you, Lisa, Thibault, Capucine, and everyone else I'm forgetting! 🫶 Can't wait to come back to your beautiful region and stop by again, heheh

Excellent tarte flambée with an original recipe. Beautiful terrace. Only downside: the scoop of sorbet was ridiculously small, but it was still excellent.

I go there regularly and it's always a pleasure! 😊 The service is definitely the restaurant's strong point: the team is welcoming, smiling, and always attentive. You feel comfortable there, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. It's a place I love to return to and that I recommend without hesitation!

Great restaurant, they offer unlimited tarte flambée. The desserts are homemade, the cocktails delicious, and the servers very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

13/07/2026: What a great find . We had traveled for 9 hours on our motorbikes , dealing rather tired ! I asked a local lady where a hotel was . She sent us here! The lady on reception was really kind and accomodating . The hotel was perfect , nice rooms and beautifully kept . The restaurant was closed but it was ok , we were guided to a fantastic local restaurant 3 mins away . Breakfast was perfect . We left refreshed thank you so much
17/05/2026: A very pleasant 4-night stay. The (premium) room was spacious and welcoming, with a very comfortable bathroom and thoughtful overall decor. Excellent bedding. Breakfasts were perfect, with a wide selection of products (several different kinds of bread, for example), and a well-stocked buffet. You feel at ease and comfortable in this place where everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. Very well located, especially for visiting Strasbourg.

24/08/2026: Nothing to complain about: the Alsatian dishes are excellently cooked, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. It's definitely not a restaurant for tourists; in fact, it's very popular with locals! Highly recommended! Thank you, Karen, for your smile and kindness!
19/08/2026: We visited Au Cygne d'Abondance with another family of friends, and given the results... we returned a second time! An unmistakable sign of how excellent the experience was. The quality of the dishes is exceptional: each course is prepared with care and mastery, with authentic and genuine flavors that reflect true Alsatian tradition. We sampled different specialties on both visits and were won over each time. The wine also deserves a special mention: an excellent selection, perfect for pairing with the dishes and further enhancing their flavors. But what made both evenings truly special was the staff: kind, attentive, and professional at all times, capable of making us feel at home despite our large group. Impeccable service, with that touch of human warmth that truly makes the difference. It's no coincidence that we returned: here, the quality is consistent and the welcome always warm. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality gastronomic experience in Alsace. Five fully deserved stars!
