We had to find it! Hidden along a village road below Grendelbruch, this picturesque restaurant with an authentic feel would keep all these promises…. Arriving in a herd of around 10 people, exhausted from a walk in the surrounding mountains, my friends and I had the ambition to eat in the best possible way. Where to start I don't know, I would like to describe this moment using lyrical flights worthy of Molière's greatest pieces but I don't feel capable of it as the simplicity of the place and the moment passed had marked us ( in the good sense of the word). A few dishes on the menu but masterfully made by undoubtedly a top-flight experienced chef who knows how to tame the cooking of meats with an iron fist. Sumptuous sauces and extraordinary generosity in the quantity of mushrooms offered in the dishes (morels or chanterelles). The dishes were fair and flawless and we were all rave about the quality of our dishes (beef fillets, kidneys, frog legs and so on) I could stop there but I want to underline the Masterful effort with a capital M that was made for the dessert offer. A price at first glance significant but when we realized that a dessert could be worth 3 in other restaurants in terms of quantity, we quickly understood that the restaurateur's state of mind was sharing without compromise... . Everything was homemade, the original dessert accompaniments such as financiers, fruit sorbets, mousses of all kinds including a caramel one which I admit was my favorite ❤️…. It was a real delight and I’m still licking my lips writing this short passage of my feelings. All this to say that I highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through. You will only risk falling sick with pleasure... what a beautiful feeling.... Goodbye and see you soon 👋

For a first visit, with friends who know the restaurant well, we can say that it was impeccable from start to finish of the meal, well served and very good, a good welcome, very friendly... In short, you are looking for a quiet place where you eat well, go take a look, you won't be disappointed 👍👌✌️

Accueil plutôt froid Serveuse ou patronne ne comprend pas un peu d humour et ne sais pas sourire. Niveau cuisine vraiment très bon , j ai juste pas eu de chance avec ma salade verte : feuilles pourries mais soit disant fraiches Restaurant très bruyant : il faut crier pour se comprendre avec son voisin :Je retiens juste que le plat était plutôt bon mais alors beaucoup trop cher pour ce style de bistrot et beaucoup trop prétentieux Ne me donne pas envie de revenir DOMMAGE

Très belle découverte. Les assiettes sont bien servies avec une bonne qualité de produits, des légumes que l’on apprécie pas comme beaucoup de restaurants où il faut les chercher. Le dessert très original accompagné d’un café à la chartreuse, excellent.
