La Grenouille sur Grendelbruch

A wonderful discovery in Alsace! We had lunch at this restaurant today and had a fantastic time. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and truly delicious, yet the dishes are beautifully presented and worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real feast for the eyes even before you start eating! The manager is lovely, always smiling, and very welcoming. She took excellent care of us throughout the meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The place is warm and inviting, decorated with great taste and attention to detail, all in a beautiful Alsatian style that gives the place a lot of charm. A place where you feel comfortable, where the food is excellent, and which we recommend without hesitation.

A restaurant located in a beautiful valley, offering an all-you-can-eat frog leg every Friday evening, with various sauces to accompany them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

No option to change a side dish that wasn't to our liking, which is a shame as the owner made it clear with a very curt "NO." The cocktail sauce accompanying the baby shrimp on the otherwise excellent gravlax salmon wasn't great. 😲 The rest of the meal was excellent. 👍 The prices are excessive for the dishes offered and the restaurant's ambiance.
