La Grolle sur Correncon-En-Vercors

We hesitated after reading the reviews, but we'd left it a bit late to find a place for lunch, and there was space at La Grolle. Well, we had a wonderful meal! The owner and staff changed two years ago (and the vast majority of the "bad" reviews are from before then). They now share the kitchen with Les Clarines. The waiter was very friendly and professional. We were there with four young children and received a very warm welcome. A big thank you to the whole team; it was a fantastic experience.

We went there for dinner; the guy who took our order was very kind and helpful despite our difficulties with French. The wine was excellent, the typical dishes we ordered were good (I recommend the fondue), and the desserts—blueberry cake, pear ice cream, and chocolate cream—were delicious, and the portions were not small. In total, we spent less than I expected (€109). Excellent experience.
