My wife and I had lunch there 4 days this week. Very varied and appreciated menus without forgetting the dynamism of the owner. Good luck to you. We will come back!

My wife and I were disappointed this Monday lunchtime with the quality of the cuisine. A dry skate, probably frozen but poorly overcooked and tasteless, and poorly accompanied. An Avocado tomato tart that goes unnoticed with a tasteless and elastic bagged salad, fortunately there was the smile and good humor of the waitress and the owner. I don’t know if the cuisine is always the same, or just because it’s summer with its rush! Too bad, because the setting is nice.

Mon épouse et moi avons été déçus ce lundi midi de la qualité de la cuisine. Une raie sèche, sûrement surgelée mais mal trop cuite et sans saveur, et mal accompagnée. Un tarte Avocat tomate qui passe inaperçu avec une salade en sachet sans goût et élastique , heureusement qu’il y’a avait le sourire et la bonne humeur de la serveuse et de la patronne. Je ne sais pas si la cuisine est toujours identique, ou juste parce que c’est l’été avec son rush! Dommage, car le cadre est sympathique .

We visited this venue on the last evening of our holiday, as per a tradition we now have. The staff are incredible! They’re friendly and made great efforts to both speak English and encourage us to try our French also. They provided colouring and entertaining for our children (and us as adults) and they had a great sense of humour. The food was exceptional; hot, tasty and generous in portion size. I would highly recommend this place.

La Cinecitta

31/08/2024: My meal at Cinecitta leaves me with very good memories! We arrive in a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, smiling waiters and quite pretty decoration. The menu is not gigantic, but a more reasonable menu is often a guarantee of better quality dishes. We had the dish of the day, trout pasta with vodka crème flambée. It was delicious, a treat for the taste buds! The dish was perfect in every way, seasoning, cooking, etc... Even the bread provided, pieces of fried pizza dough were very good. For dessert, I opted for profiteroles, also delicious. In short, without dwelling on the details, if you are in Brétignolle sur Mer one day, go and taste the dishes at Cinecitta, you will tell me the news!
