This review is based on a positive experience.
I came to eat at La Guinguette Neuvic Plage with friends and left with a happy stomach and a great mood. My burger was absolutely delicious: generous, indulgent, the kind of burger that makes you forget all your good intentions in just a few bites. And a very nice pizza too... which would benefit from a crust of the same quality. The toppings were spot on, but the crust still had a few shortcomings...
Upon arrival, a young waitress with lovely curls seated me with a kindness that immediately set the tone for the evening. Then appeared a legendary mustachioed man, possessing a true art of presence: always there when needed, never when not. A kind of restaurant ninja, but with a mustache.
The setting is superb: on one side, a magnificent view of the lake, on the other, the open kitchen. I was able to admire two chefs, their elegant hats on, seemingly moving in perfect harmony with their utensils. It was like a culinary choreography. And the best part is that the spectacle lived up to the food: the cuisine was as well-executed as it was pleasing to watch. A special mention also goes to the young woman with bangs, who juggled between the kitchen and the dining room with a smile, bringing out the dishes with infectious good humor.
Special mention goes to the young man with the bun, who clearly looked like he was about to leave work… but who still managed to keep me entertained with a generous glass of cold water. All this youthful energy succeeded in making me write a Google review.
Generous portions, a welcome that immediately makes you want to return, a friendly team, and a particularly pleasant setting… In short, a place worth the detour.
