La Guinguette sur Grezels

Had a lovely meal on the terrace, close to the Lot River. Relaxed atmosphere.

Despite an enticing menu and a pleasant setting, the €28 set menu fell short of expectations. The starter, a salmon carpaccio with guacamole, consisted of a few lukewarm slices of trout and some unappetizing canned guacamole. The main course was sea bream served with fries. While the sea bream itself was quite nice, it seemed small and underwhelming on the plate. The frozen fries were neither crispy nor soft, simply disappointing. Dessert was a pleasant peach Melba. The service was a mixed bag. A very kind and helpful woman on one side, and a very unprofessional young man on the other, who seemed to think we were bothering him—a shame. It was nice, but we certainly won't be back.

We received a very warm welcome; the staff were very kind and smiling. A small welcome plate with melon and a verrine (small glass of something delicious) was offered. The dishes on offer were very good. My sister and I had the grilled lamb chop with fries; the lamb was excellent, cooked perfectly. My wife had the salad with chicken, which was also very good. The presentation was lovely, and we didn't have to wait; the service was quick. Thank you, we will be back to eat here.

Magnificent place! Superb view, delicious food!

This establishment boasts a lovely terrace overlooking the Lot River and a beautiful dining room. A set menu is available for €18 including soup, starter, main course, and dessert, or a three-course option for €14 (starter/main or main/dessert). They also have a small but decent à la carte menu. A special mention goes to the crème brûlée, which is excellent. Very good value for money. The staff is friendly. A great place in Grezels that I highly recommend!

Fantastic restaurant La Guinguette in Grezels! We went there for Easter lunch, and the staff were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The menu was varied, and everything was delicious! From the quality of the food to the presentation, everything was perfect. And what a setting! The terrace with its view of the Lot River... I highly recommend it!

Valentine's Day dinner at La Guinguette, Grezels. What a wonderful evening! A warm welcome, a refined and generous dinner of impeccable quality. With a good bottle of wine and a delicious aperitif, the evening was perfect. There was even an extra attraction: a raffle. What a great idea and what enthusiasm from the staff! And the pace! It deserves all our praise. Furthermore, it's an address we would recommend without hesitation! Thank you all. You made our evening excellent. Top-notch.
