Located on the banks of the Saône River in Pontailler-sur-Saône, La Guinguette de Guigui is a simply furnished outdoor establishment with a large terrace and long tables. The atmosphere is particularly convivial. The menu features classic fast food. We had burgers with fries. They also offer sausages and pizzas. Salads are available, a welcome treat during heatwaves like those in June. The fried small fish is also a popular choice. The dishes are simple and the portions are generous. People come here mainly for the lively and friendly atmosphere. There are giant screens for broadcasting football matches. A pleasant spot to have a drink or a meal by the Saône, before or after a stroll along the quays.

We had a very good time. The welcome was excellent and the meal was very good. No complaints whatsoever.

A very nice place that has been renovated this year. Yes, the prices are higher, but the quality of the food is much better than in previous years (fresh fries, for example). In any case, it's a pleasant setting to have a drink and enjoy the Saône River.

While waiting for our order, we had a little aperitif 🤪 The portions were very generous. It was delicious, and as a bonus, a gentleman was playing the accordion and singing a little song; it was lovely.

Well, I went to see for myself...because I'd read a lot of unpleasant comments...the family is very pleasant and friendly, the food is good, and they have a delicious craft beer from Longchamp...thank you for your hospitality...I'll be back...

Excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere. The service still needs some fine-tuning, but it's only just started, it will improve soon!
