La Guinguette sur Grand-Brassac

We enjoy coming to the guinguette (riverside café) every year. It's a peaceful, simple, and pleasant spot with a beach, canoes, and live music. The guinguette offers perfectly decent food at very reasonable prices. We tried the mussels Spanish style – delicious! We recommend this place for a day out, a meal, or even just an afternoon!

Loved this little riverside beach and Guingette for years and years. Nothing very polished or fancy, but great.

Great place: friendly and family-oriented. The food is good and affordable. You can swim, have drinks on the grass… but it's best to book in advance as it fills up quickly! Note: dogs are no longer allowed.

This place is still a gem. A warm welcome even during the busiest times, and a friendly, family atmosphere. The restaurant improves every year (thank you for sourcing and sharing your local producers...). We were, once again, delighted.

This second visit was very disappointing. The meal was not worth the price. Truly mediocre.

River side food and bar. The food is really very good. And you can go and sleep it off by the river, or go for a dip, after.

A truly exceptional discovery... at the end of a winding road lies a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature. A restaurant of surprising quality: fresh, almost entirely local produce, cooked and presented with flair. In short, we'll definitely be back! Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome. Remember to book ahead; the restaurant is, quite rightly, a victim of its own success!

The place remains unique, relaxation guaranteed. I'm disappointed by the food, which used to offer andouillettes and duck breasts for years... now burgers are far too prevalent at the expense of other dishes, especially when the parmentier on the menu isn't available.

As usual, a great time at the guinguette. We've been coming for over 15 years to spend a "day" here: canoeing, swimming, pétanque, and then lunch or dinner. This year we found the usual atmosphere, with an added bonus in the food! Even more "prepared" dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and homemade fries! What else? 👌 ...the best!

It's a really great place to spend a relaxing time with friends and my kids. The bar staff are super friendly. Remember to book a table for dinner! The river water is a bit cold...it's invigorating! 😋
