Great place for a family meal - and on this occasion we were quite a family! They placed us (all 12) on a large round table in the centre of the light and airy dining room then proceeded to spoil us with great, smiling service and hearty local food. Nothing too refined or delicate but who needs refined and delicate when you have impatient kids in tow? The restaurant manager did a great job front of house, and made us feel welcomed and valued. Would recommend most highly.
