La Guinguette du Marais sur Arcais

Nice little bar with a large waterfront terrace. Friendly welcome and quick service. Very reasonable prices.

The bar provides access to a boat dock for exploring the Marais Poitevin. But what on earth are tourists doing in Coulon?! Here it's absolutely stunning and so peaceful, plus it's much more affordable: €17 instead of €24 in Coulon. We only saw three other boats and enjoyed an idyllic boat trip! I highly recommend it! They even offer "boat aperitifs": a 90-minute tour with a nice glass of wine to enjoy. 👍🏻

After a short hike, a plate of oysters and a small glass of white wine in the sunshine. A very warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere. I recommend it.
