Wow! What a wonderful discovery La Halle Paysanne in Carlux was! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by smiling and welcoming waitresses, even without a reservation. The setting is superb, and the €29 set menu is simply exquisite: generous, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. In short, top-notch! You can go there without hesitation. Bravo to the entire front-of-house team and the chef in the kitchen!

A superb experience! I don't often take the time to write reviews, but this establishment deserves high praise. The menus are incredibly affordable considering the quality of the service and the food. The dishes are magnificent, both in taste and presentation; the flavors are simply incredible, and you can taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients and the homemade touch.
The panoramic terrace offers an exceptional setting, and the decor transports you back in time.
The service for our four-course meal was seamless, and the time flew by.
A nice bonus: being able to pick up a small selection of fruits and vegetables, cheeses, etc., before leaving.

A truly wonderful discovery! An authentic and charming setting, a friendly atmosphere, and a warm welcome from start to finish. The products are fresh, local, and of high quality. Each dish is generous, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. Special mention for the desserts—a real treat! 😋 You can feel their love for the local area and their respect for the ingredients. The value for money is excellent, and the whole team is friendly and attentive.
If you're ever in the Dordogne, this is an address you absolutely must visit. We'll be back with great pleasure! 👏🍽️🌿
